POPPS (Parents of Pavilion Preschool) is a voluntary group of parents and carers who support the pre-school by helping to plan, organise and run fundraising events and activities.

Our main fundraising events are the Christmas and Summer Fetes, and we also hold smaller events such as the Easter bonnet parade.

A big part of being able to maintain the pre-school to the high standard we believe in, is good fundraising.  The money raised is put towards the development and maintenance of the pre-school, purchasing educational items, and to help fund trips for the children e.g. to the pantomime and farm.  Recent examples of items we have been able to purchase include the smart screen, outdoor water equipment and we are hoping to raise funds to develop a Forest School on site.

We are always looking for new ideas for raising money for the pre-school, and there are many ways you can get involved. For example, requesting raffle prizes from local businesses and/or employers, organising and running a stall, wrapping gifts for stalls such as lucky dips, and helping on the day of the event.

If you would like to get involved please speak to a member of staff.  Any time or support you can provide will be greatly appreciated.  It is also a great way to meet other parents and bring the community together.
